WSU student Greg Power has been named the fastest drummer in the world by Drum Corps International.
Pullman, Wash. - Greg Power’s drumsticks blur as he beats them across his quad drums in Kimbrough Hall before marching band practice.
The WSU junior earned the title "fastest drummer" this July at the Drum Corps International (DCI) Southwestern Championship in San Antonio, Texas, with 923 single drum beats in one minute — 12 faster than last year’s record, according to Drum Corps Planet.
