CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
The City of Moscow Police Department is seeking an energetic, highly motivated person to fill the position of Code Enforcement Officer.
The Code Enforcement Officer performs the following duties: patrols the City looking for violations of City ordinances related to animals, noxious weeds, sidewalk snow removal, and public nuisances; responds to animal complaints and issues notices of code violations.
Successful candidates must successfully pass a thorough background investigation that includes a polygraph test, psychological test, and medical examination. Additional requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; possession of a valid driver’s license; the ability to operate a computer data entry terminal; and deal effectively with co-workers and the public. Previous experience caring for dogs and other animals is preferred.
The City offers a full range of benefits and pay is $12.91 + per hour DOE.
