After finishing Wednesday's qualifying heat in fourth place with a time of 13 minutes, 15.45 seconds, a Coug will be competing in Satuday's men's 5000m final at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Bernard Lagat will be representing the U.S. in this weekend's final, running alongside Lopez Lomong and Galen Rupp. The two-time medalist received a bronze in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and a silver in the 2004 Athens Olympic games, both times representing his native Kenya in the 1,500m.

The race will be Sat., Aug 11 at 11:30 a.m.
