University Convocation, the official welcome to freshman and transfer students, will be in Beasley Coliseum from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Speeches from key members of the university, including President Elson S. Floyd, will be presented to ring in your academic career at WSU.

The Bell Tower Concert House and Event Venue hosts Mureau alongside bands Kingdom of Giants, Parley, The Ongoing Concept and The Persevering Promise at 6 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 on the day of the concert. All ages are admitted, but only 21 and older will have access to the full bar.

Uniontown, Wash., will host its 12th annual flea market and town yard sale from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Holzer Park. The town is about 20 minutes south of Pullman, along State Route 195.
At University Recreation's (UREC) Backyard Bash, attendees can earn t-shirts and other fitness-related objects through participation in sports demonstrations and activity stations. The event at the Student Recreation Center goes from 12 to 3 p.m.
UREC will also host a Green Bike Campus Tour, which explores the different Green Bike stations around campus.
