The Blues Brothers will take the stage Friday for Dad's Weekend from 8 to 10 p.m. at Beasley Coliseum. The cost of attendance is $54.50, and a $5 discount will be given for WSU students and staff.

Along with the Blues Brothers, the Sacred Hearts band, a blues and jazz group, will also perform at Beasley.

Leo Udy, director of Beasley Coliseum, said 4,000 people have already purchased tickets. He is expecting another 1,000 to buy them before the event. He also said Blue Brothers performer Jim Belushi came in 2004 for Mom's Weekend and was a great hit.

"Belushi would go out into the audience and really rev up the audience. He's very friendly, energetic and really knows how to work the crowd," Udy said.

Udy encouraged students to bring their parents to the event.

"This is a great Friday night to bring parents to. It's perfect for all ages, the songs are fun, and I know Belushi is really excited to perform," Udy said.

Tickets can be purchased online at http://beasley.wsu.edu/. For other information contact Leo Udy at udy@wsu.edu.
