To this (epic) weekend
Friday, Aug. 31:
Wear your colors proud
We are the Cougars, and with that honor comes the responsibility to show off our certain special brand of spirit. In honor of annual College Colors Day and our first football game with epic new football coach Mike Leach, let’s show the nation that we are truly undefeated fans.
Third time’s a charm
As part of the Student Entertainment Board films series, come see the epic "Men in Black 3" in the CUB Auditorium. Showings are at 6 and 9 p.m. today and Saturday, and at 4 and 7 p.m. on Sunday. The movie is free with your CougarCard, $2 without. Will Smith has aged well.
The music will move you
The epic multi-talented Emily Wells will perform with Edmund Wayne at the Bell Tower Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets are available online for $7 before the show or at the door the day of for $10.
Shadow puppets get epic
After a week of workshops with Visual, Performing, and Literary Arts Committee’s visiting artist group, the Redmoon Theater, students have shadow puppets ready for performance. The shows will be tonight on Library Road between Bryan Hall and the library at 9:30, 10 and 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 1:
So fresh, so clean
The Center for Civic Engagement is putting together a volunteer group to help pick up the Dunes from last weekend’s epic partying extravaganza. Spots may still be available, but make sure you sign up through the CCE before you go.
Use your card for good
The annual 30 Days of Pullman begins today, extending through the end of September. With presentation of your CougarCard, you too can take advantage of these epic discounts and promotions at businesses around town. ASWSU is handing out calendars in the CUB that show which businesses are offering deals on each day.
Monday, Sept. 3:
You officially have time to breathe
Or at least catch up. The university will be closed today for Labor Day, giving you the chance to not only sleep in and work on projects, but also stay up late and cram in another epic night out on the town.
