WSU police are investigating an incident of indecent exposure that occurred early Sunday morning outside of Regents Hall.
Lt. Steve Hansen of the WSU Police Department said two female WSU students called the police at about 3 a.m. after a young man exposed himself to them.
The females were walking together when the suspect seemingly “came out of nowhere” and stepped in front of them, Hansen said. The suspect asked the young women if they wanted to have sex, then he exposed himself.
“If things like this happens make sure you’re in a safe place and call 911,” Hansen said.
The suspect is described as an Arabic male in his 20s, and he was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
Hansen said another individual reportedly saw
someone matching the suspect’s description enter another residence hall. Police are currently investigating that lead.
Police request anyone with information about this incident contact the police department at 509-335-8548.
