Ryan Leaf, one of WSU’s most noteworthy former quarterbacks, was arrested on allegations of burglary in Montana on Monday, marking his second arrest in the past week.
According to the Associated Press, Leaf was arrested Friday after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing prescription drugs. He was then arrested for burglary again on Monday, only three days after posting bail. He now faces charges of burglary, theft and criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
Ryan Leaf visited WSU in November for Dad’s Weekend to discuss and sign his new book “596 Switch.” Leaf was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 1998, the same year he helped the Cougar football team reach the Rose Bowl.
