William Stetson:

Homecoming was OK, but the school needs to set Homecoming on a weekend with a weaker opponent. Most alumni consider the football game as the pinnacle of Homecoming week. The past two years, Homecoming has fallen on games against Stanford and Oregon. Homecoming is an important opportunity for alumni to come back and possibly donate to the school and the athletic program. WSU should try and set Homecoming for an easier contest.

Michael Cronin:

I really did not participate in any Homecoming activities. I live off campus, so I do not hear about many events unless I am already seeking them out or if I hear about them through my friends. The only events I attended were the game and the Milkman concert. The concert was great, and very fun. My suggestion for next year goes to the football program. Pick easier teams for our Homecoming games. Students would rather celebrate Homecoming with a win than a loss.

Glen Stratton:

I did not participate in any activity explicitly tied to Homecoming. I had no desire to. It is overrated, like most “special” occasions. It is all pretty arbitrary — it is an excuse to have fun, like most festivities or holidays, and there is nothing wrong with that. But for someone like me, it just does not matter in any way. I have no suggestions for next year other than that students should be willing to put studying first if there is a test or some other important kind of school work that needs doing.
